1994 Turbo S “Flachbau”

This is Ryan’s absolute dream car. Around 76 of these rare “Flatnose” 911 were built. The Porsche factory had 93 Turbo chassis left. These were all transferred to Porsche Exclusive, and hand built as the very special 964 Turbo 3.6 S. They were offered with normal, or ‘Flachbau’ front ends. While the vast majority of Turbo S’ were fitted with the ‘Flachbau’ nose as a no-cost option, the Turbo S could also be had with the traditional 964 nose as well. In all, 76 Flatnose cars were made.

Ryan flew to Texas to see the car in person, knowing how few of them come up for sale he knew the opportunity to own his dream car was right in front of him.

2006 911 Carrera S

Brian built this 997 generation 911 to pay homage to the 1973 911 Carrera RS. The Fuch wheels are an iconic wheel choice of many aircooled 911s and are right at home on this car. This car even features the iconic ducktail that was found on the original Carrera RS. The engine in this car has been heavily modified into a 4.1-liter engine from a 3.6-liter making more horsepower than stock, what Brian calls the perfect amount of power for a 911.

Ron the 911 is a 1985 911, a G-series generation 911. It features many tasteful modifications. This is not Adam’s first Porsche, but definitely one of his favorites. Adam has a lot of experience driving on track and can find him at Road Atlanta many weekends every year.

2018 911 GT2 RS MR (Manthey Racing)

Dave’s history with 9 Porsches – I bought my first Porsche, 1) a 1979 930, in the Summer of 1982 for the purpose of taking it to PCA HPDEs to So,ce,n and understand why so many people told me – “If you are going to track a car, it must be a Porsche! They go to and survive the track like a Corvette/Mustang goes to the supermarket!” So, I took their advice, and I have been attending PCA HPDEs, mainly with a Porsche, ever since. In July of 1982 we were blessed with our 2nd son, so my wife was less than excited by the purchase (not much in the piggy bank!), coupled with the inherent risks of the hobby. Fortunately, and over the years, she has learned to love driving Porsches herself (not on the track) and putting up with my, Need for Speed. As she noted – PCA HPDEs might well be safer that driving on I-75! I am now in my 42nd year of PCA HPDE events and so far, only one minor scrape of a front bumper back in the ‘90s.

Since then, my Porsches have included: 2) a ’84 928; 3) a ’97 911 Turbo (I sadly I sold it ☹); 4) a ’01 911 Turbo; 5) a ’10 GT3 RS; 6) a ’16 GT4; 7) a ’20 GT4, 8) a ’22 Macan (sadly destroyed by Hurricane Ian after only 28 miles); and finally, 9) this beauty! I have driven all of them on the street and on tracks (Road America, Watkins Glenn, Sebring, etc., etc.), with Mid-Ohio being my “Home Track”. I recently learned the Kienzle Family provided the original dash instrumentation for Volkswagen and many live in the Wiesbaden, Germany area. So, in a distant way, we have been part of the Porsche journey.

1953 356 Pre-A

At Speed Motors was founded in 1996 with an initial foray into Porsche Club Racing.  By 1998, with Bob Miller driving a 3.8 Supercup, the team had scored 13 first place finishes and 2 second places in 16 races.  By 2000, At Speed had moved to SCCA Pro in the World Challenge GT Series driving a GT3 Cup.  Bob ran only 3 races in 2000 as a test for how competitive the team would be against pro-level drivers. 2007 and 2008 marked At Speed’s return to Porsche in both Grand AM GT and World Challenge GT.  Running incredible races like 24 Hours of Daytona, Sebring, etc. continued the team’s challenge of various series.  Then, in mid-2008, Bob transitioned the team from racing to assisting customers with their car development, building race machines, servicing Porsches, and driver coaching. By the end of 2012, At Speed had moved almost exclusively into importing/exporting investment level Porsche cars.  Evaluating and authenticating chassis for purchase, assisting clients with their collection development, and presenting some of the rarest cars available in the world became the overall focus. Thus, the passion for Porsche, which began with racing, continues to this day in our offerings and services.  What you see on these pages represent some of the finest examples of Original Porsche cars found anywhere in the world.

“When I was 22, I had just purchased a brand new 1987 Mustang GT 5.0.  My Dad had just purchased a 1984 Porsche 944.  I had never driven a Porsche and had “po pooed” them as just a “name”.  After about a month, Dad and I switched cars…  I was absolutely blown away by the Porsche!  Yes, the Mustang was quicker with more torque, but the Porsche did absolutely EVERYTHING wonderfully… speed, power delivery, handling, braking, balance, ergonomics, etc.  I had never driven a car like it and immediately understood why there “Is NO substitute”.  From there, I bought my first Porsche, a 944 Turbo and the rest is history.”

2023 RSR-19 “Rexy”

In 2023 the GTE LM AM class Rexy was raced by AO Racing with drivers Matteo Cairoli, P.J. Hyett and Gunnar Jeannette. AO stands for Autumn Oaks, a collection of mostly historic racing cars. AO Racing this year won the IMSA GTD Pro class and Driver’s Championship with the newer 911 GT3 R Rexy. Where the Rexy livery comes from: The inspiration came from Team Principal and Driver PJ Hyett, in honor of his children. Hyett proudly sported a T-Rex for his son and a unicorn for his daughter on his helmet, taking his family with him as he races. When conferring with AO Racing Motorsport Director Gunnar Jeannette, the pair came up with Rexy, the new fan favorite in sports car racing. With a grill full of sharp teeth, Rexy looks fierce, hungry to take down the competition, but wins fans over with his short arms and strong legs. The livery was a hit with race fans.

Lowenbrau 962-103

This Porsche 962-103, better known as the “Holbert Racing Löwenbräu Special,” is widely considered the most successful and recognizable 962. Built by Porsche AG in Spring 1984, 962-103 was the third customer car completed at the racing department in Weissach. Intended to compete in the IMSA GT Championship, 962-103 was originally delivered to Holbert Racing, an American outfit with long-standing ties to the German marque.

911 GT3 Turbo Cup Pikes Peak

Loni Unser is the 4th generation of the Unser family to race up the mountain at Pike’s Peak. This mountain has often been described as in their back yard, their mountain, home of the Unsers, and more, because they have a such a storied history of racing on it. The latest, Loni, is sharing some awesome in car footage from the last running of the race, where she piloted a Porsche GT3 up the mountain in grand fashion.
