While Texas is more known for its vast nondescript terrain, it also has curves and hills for driving enthusiasts. On drive day 3, we head to two of the twisted sister sections of hill country with the intention of finding some fun hills to drive. After a long day, we’ll treat ourselves to some local culture and music in the tiniest town in Texas, Luckenbach, where we the plan is to dance and dine under the Texas sky. Day 4 Fredericksburg to San Antonio and The Hotel Emma Drive day three, we’ll bid farewell to Fredericksburg and head to San Antonio via another of the twisted sisters of hill country, the third and final. The journey will travel scenic roads with Texas’s version of fall foliage and panoramic vistas. Some characterize this area as an inverted mountain range with large hills and canyons. The scenery will be plentiful and when we’re done we can check off Farm to Market (FM) 335, 336 and 337 “The Three Sisters”, considered the best roads in the Lone Star State. Our day ends at Hotel Emma where you will enjoy an amazing stay at this history rich former brewery from days gone by. After a short drive from the city, we’ll begin to explore some of the other unique attractions of the Lone Star state.
